PERSONAL PREPARATION QUESTIONS
WHAT TYPE OF CLOTHING SHOULD I WEAR TO ALL SESSIONS?
To each session you must wear comfortable clothing or bring them to change into. Best choices for both men and women would be shorts and a T-shirt. If you have decided to get Neck Cosmetic Acupuncture please make sure the T-shirt is a V-neck. Most women will wear a sports bra which is very helpful when Neck Cosmetic Acupuncture is being done.
DO I NEED TO LET YOU KNOW IF I'M ALLERGIC TO ANYTHING?
Yes. It is important to let me know whether you are allergic to any natural oils. The MeiZen Facial Toner, the MeiZen Pearl Cream and the MeiZen Revitalizing Serum are products I use once the session is over. The products contain natural oils and Chinese herbs that help promote healthier skin and therefore optimal cosmetic results. If you are allergic to any natural oils please notify me. If you are allergic to something in any of the above products don't worry you are still able to receive Cosmetic Acupuncture. The MeiZen products be removed from the session regimen.
CAN I WEAR MAKEUP DURING MY SESSIONS?
No, however; our first session will not involve any facial needles so you may wear makeup to this session. The following 10 sessions makeup is prohibited during treatment, no exceptions. Best practice is for you to have all of your makeup removed before your session. However, if you are coming from work to the session or going to work after the session you may use the restroom to remove or apply your makeup as needed. Since this will take more time please let me know as you will need to arrive five to ten minutes early to have your makeup removed before your designated session start time.
CAN I USE MY SMART PHONE, CELL PHONE, NOOK, OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICE DURING THE SESSIONS?
NO. In fact I require that you turn your electronic device off and not bring it into the treatment room. All electronic devices leach energy of their own and believe it or not will interrupt electrical magnetic energy of your meridians. You will be reminded to power down all electronic devices each session. Further, while the needles are being inserted and after they are inserted and you are resting you will not be able to move. This is a great opportunity for you to relax, unwind and check out as the needles gently guide you into a deep relaxed calm.
